The Lally’s Gold Story
Over 150 years ago, a local gold miner by the name of Lally picketed 150lbs of gold as his share of three months’ work in Adams Gully, the location of our family’s small vineyard.
Lally’s Gold Blanc de Noir is crafted from 100% pinot noir grapes. 2018 was a very hot year, with good clean fruit that was picked earlier than usual. The grapes were picked as whole bunches and on arrival at the winery, they were bag-pressed immediately with minimal skin contact before going into stainless steel tanks.
