Thanks for your interest in our delicious fruit, fruit ports & wine. There are a few things you need to know before you buy from us.

 

General

By using our website, you agree that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.

Suncrest Orchard reserves the right to decline any order placed for any reason. Whilst every effort is made to ensure prices on our website are correct, mistakes can occur. If this is the case, Suncrest Orchard will contact you and you will then have the choice to accept the corrected price or cancel your order.

All prices displayed on our website are in NZ dollars and include GST and are subject to change

All photos and descriptions give a general representation of the appearance and taste of the product. Variations can occur between seasons and varieties.

 

Shipping Fruit

We can only deliver fresh fruit to New Zealand addresses.

The deadline for orders is 11am on the day prior to dispatch. Dispatch days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only.  We do not dispatch on Public Holidays.

We do not ship to rural delivery addresses or to PO Boxes. Please note that the courier’s definition of rural delivery can differ from that of NZ Post.

Fruit is subject to availability and is weather dependent. The variety of fruit that is available at the time of packing will be sent. For stonefruit other than cherries, please let us know if you have a specific purpose for the fruit eg jam, preserving eating. This information can be added in the additional comments section at the bottom.

For cherry orders, a tracking number will be emailed when the fruit is dispatched. Please allow until 7pm on the day of dispatch to receive this tracking number. For other fruits, tracking numbers will only be emailed  if requested – please note this in the comments sections on the checkout page if required.

 

Couriers will deliver the order to the address and location provided by the customer. Once the order has been left at the specified address, the order will be deemed to be delivered.  We highly recommend that you choose a shipping address where there will be someone available to receive the order at the time of delivery.

For South Island deliveries, please allow 24 hours after dispatch for delivery. For North Island deliveries, please allow 48 hours.

If the customer receives an incorrect order, the customer is required to contact Suncrest Orchard within 24 hours. Failure to do so will be considered acceptance of the fruit delivered. If the customer does contact Suncrest Orchard within 24 hours, a replacement order can be arranged to be sent.

 

Shipping Fruit Ports & Wine

The customer must be 18 years or older to shop on www.suncrestorchard.co.nz for wines and fruit ports.

The supply of false information regarding age to purchase alcohol is illegal under New Zealand laws.

In New Zealand, it is against the law to leave restricted goods such as alcohol unattended at an address. All deliveries require a signature of someone 18 years or older. If no one (18 years or older) is available to sign for the order, a calling card will be left to advise of the attempted delivery.

Refunds/Returns

Fresh Fruit

When ordering fresh fruit, the customer acknowledges that Suncrest Orchard is selling perishable goods.

We ship our fruit in the best condition. However, if you receive a product that is damaged or if you are unsatisfied with the product, please contact Suncrest Orchard within 24 hours of receiving the product to let us know. Suncrest Orchard, at it’s discretion, may replace the damage fruit or provide a refund. Additional information may be requested by Suncrest Orchard before any refund or replacement is made.

Suncrest Orchard will not be responsible for any quality issues resulting from incorrect storage or handling of the fruit once delivered to the customer’s specified address.  We highly recommend that you choose a shipping address where there will be someone available to receive the order at the time of delivery.

Wines & Fruit Ports

Please choose your wines carefully, in the event you change your mind about a purchase we do not provide a refund. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, we provide a replacement free of charge if goods are proven faulty.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. We will not disclose or share your information to any other company. We do not retain your credit card details on file – they are processed by our secure payment processing system.
